CAUSATIVE ORGANISM: Vibrio cholera

MODE OF INFECTION: Contaminated food or drink taken orally

SYMPTOMS:

• Watery white stools
• Repeated vomiting
• Frequent passing of stools.

TREATMENT:

ORS (Oral rehydration Solution) is considered effective  as most of the electrolytes and water is removed from the body.
